Donald Trump is stuck in a reality TV loop. Only those things are more scripted than prime time dramas. trump is a prop. Joy Behar of the View says they should've hooked trump up to a lie detector machine. While Joe was mumbling all the facts he had memorized trump was spewing lies at overwhelming rates.

There was a split screen shot at the end. trump was sitting looking petulant and smug, self satisfied that he had gotten away with it. I hope to never see that face in the oval office. It is the stuff of nightmares. It is a horror show unfolding in plain sight that someone must stop. At any cost.

Unveiling

Joe Biden is the nondescript sort, more like a local public servant than a politician. No match for a B-list tv personality. Joe is just an ordinary guy who was called into service. Bit off more than he bargained for.

Funny thing about the debate. The glaring takeaway from the showdown wasn't Biden's frailty but trump's lies. The country was treated to 90 minutes of uninterrupted plagiarism that would make a used car salesman blush. The country didn't take it well.

So instead of basking in his own glory perhaps some damage control is in order. If his ego will permit it. Either way millions of undecideds got their first good look at trump '24. I think it was enough.
